#2

Sweet #2 hasn't gotten much action on the blog. Typical 2nd child, right? I'm determined to try not to let it be like that though. So... how things are going with this pregnancy? It is completely different this time around. From weight gain, to how I'm feeling, it's different. With Kate, I was really sick in the beginning (hugging the toilet sick) and with #2, I felt bad, but I felt better when I ate something - which means I was eating ALL THE TIME! The "sick" feeling started earlier with this one and stayed around a lot longer. I'm much better now (thank goodness), but am exhausted 99% of the time. Things are a bit different with a demanding 2 year old around. But... things are going great! She is right on track and kicking like crazy. I think she moves around a bit more than Kate did. Not sure what that means (if anything)... but it's a lot of fun!

Kate has been really cute with the thought of her, too. She keeps talking about when she comes and wanting her to get here. Pretty cute when she asks to kiss my tummy. Poor thing doesn't realize that her world is about to be turned upside down in May. A couple of weeks ago, it got really quiet, so I went down the hall into the nursery and found this...

Kate pulled out a bunch of baby shoes, socks, and tights so that they would be ready for her sister. Kind of precious. I'm so thankful that Kate is excited... makes it a little easier. I just hopes it stays this way when she gets here.
